Find a missing person

Sometime is see a picture of missing person on Facebook of any other social media site. If someone have time then we can create a site where reporter will upload the various photographs of the missing person along with other tags like "Missing from Place", "Age" etc. The person who want to search the person will also upload some of the clear pictures of his missing relative and the software will search his record in its database using face recognition. Job will run daily and as soon as any near match found for a face the email/msg will be send to the concerned person.
Police can also use this app to upload the pics of unidentified bodies.  
There exists some sites which almost does the same but i think face recognition is missing in them...

Movie Categorization

This post is regarding very simple and effective approach for movie lover.
Usually when a movie lover get a 1TB HDD full of movies he can't choose his flavor of movies from such a huge disk space.
What i recommend to have a application that would sync up with some IMDB sort of site and categorize all movies in various categories like Action, Science Fiction, Thriller etc.... in different folder so that we can choose best movies.
We can also sort them by their rating...

A new thought just popped up in my mind about electronic visiting cards... EVCards...
It would be a small paper like device just about the size of a visiting card. It would work as a sender and receiver, side A sender and Side B receiver. When u need to give your visiting card to someone you just need to stick your and his visiting cards with your A and his B side facing each other.
It must be compact enough to fit in a purse :)...

Gas Nob Timer

Have you ever boiled milk? if yes then i am 90% sure that it sometime came out of the boiling container just because you forget to turn off the gas on time. Or even worse when you get all your milk converted into TAR: )
So can't we have a simple timer for nob which automatically turn gas off after certain time.  

Parameterized CSS

As a web developer sometime i feel a requirement (though not too serious) of parameterized CSS.
It may sound silly but it can work great if you are almost sure that your parameter not gonna change.
It a sure shot performance improver because your no of CSS will get reduced.

Browser Navigation Tracker

I some time found it difficult to get back to the original post from where i started clicking hyper links.
I get deep down to my sub topic so deeply that i forgot where did i started this.
Lets illustrate it through a figure.




Here if start from topic A and reached to Topic A21 there there is no way by which 1 can immediately get back to either parent topic A2 or parent of parent topic i.e Topic A.
Now what i suggest there should be a "Back To Parent" button in Browser by which i can move immediately to parent tab.
Browser can have a setting for that like enable parent tracking...
